Each tablet contains:
Praziquantel.................... 50 mg

Prazintel is active against all adult and
developmental stages of Tapeworms
Such as:
Echinococcus granulosus
Echinococcus multilocularis
Taenia hydatigena
Taenia multiceps
Dipylidium caninum
Mesocestoides sp

It is given as a single dose of
5 mg / kg body weight orally in
case of dogs and cats after every
six weeks starting from the age
of six weeks. The dose schedule
is as follows:
B.W-5 kg : ½ Tab
B.W-10 kg : 1 Tab
B.W-15 kg : 1+ ½ Tab
B.W-20 kg : 2 Tab
Over 20 kg increase dose rate by ½
for every 5 kg increase in weight
